Have you seen the all the colors of the rainbow? When do we see a rainbow in the sky? What does it tell us about the weather? Bright pretty colors can cheer us up, when we are feeling unhappy. The class in this story used rainbow colors and dress-up costumes to have fun.

Something funny happened when young Beth went to the wharf to watch her parents fishing. They thought she was too young to tell them an important message. They didn't think that she could help them, but later they wished they had listened to her message.

Many people think that spiders are insects. But spiders are different to insects. Their bodies have two main parts, not three. They have eight legs, not six. What else do you know about spiders?

A butterfly has 4 changes in its life. First it is a little egg laid by the mother butterfly. After a while a caterpillar comes out of the egg. The caterpillar eats and grows until it is big. Then it makes a home called a chrysalis, where it slowly changes. After a while a butterfly comes out and flies away!

Can you hear any noises now? What are some things that are very noisy? Do you make a lot of noise sometimes? How?

Dinosaurs were reptiles that lived millions of years ago. It was a long time before there were any people on the earth. Scientists have looked at dinosaur bones and found out many things about what they were like. Nobody knows why the dinosaurs disappeared. People have made pictures to show what they might have looked like. What do we know about dinosaurs?

Grandpa hid some treasure for Charlie to find, then he gave him clues. Grandpa told Charlie he was cold when he was far away from the hidden treasure. Then he told him that he was getting warm when Charlie went closer. Stickybeak the parrot told him when he was getting hot.
